Lakefield, Ontario, is a beautiful village nestled in the Kawartha Lakes. Less than a two-hour drive from Toronto and only ten minutes from Peterborough, this historic small town features many charming homes and churches dating back to the 1800s. Situated in the Trent Canal Waterway system, Lakefield allows you to explore the Kawarthas by boat. It is an excellent place for winter sports lovers too. Lakefield is the home of Ontario Speed Skating Oval, a community Arena and nearby snowmobiling trails.
